Helena Raková passed away ... 12 December 2008 » We are sad to inform you that a long time member, Helena Raková passed away on December 12, 2008. Helena spent many years working with Theatre Around the Corner, participating on stage and behind the scenes in many productions. Her passing is a tremendous loss as Helenka was a great friend on and off the stage. She was often one of the "behind the scenes" people, who's effort, dedication and time is crucial to the success of each production. Helena will be also missed by our theatre fans - many of you may remember Helenka as the "neighbour" in our recent production of Heaven on Earth. Our most sincere condolences go to Helena's family. Gratias Agit Award 2008 goes to Theatre Around the Corner in Vancouver 3 October 2008 » Theatre Around the Corner, one of the oldest theatres in Vancouver, was bestowed the Gratias Agit Award 2008 on Friday October 3, 2008, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg.

TAC gets new logo 1 December 2005 » Building our new web pages got us thinking about our logo which served us so well for many years. The new web site inclines more towards a modern style design so we decided to "modernize" our logo to reflect that. |
